Why do I begin setting up essential oils booth?”

It has been a long day but as I sat down and unwind, I asked myself why do I have a booth on essential oils? I remembered telling a nice lady, I want to share the benefits of essential oils...

I had only recently embarked on the journey to learn more about essential oils. Previously I have only used Spearmint nonstop for 3 years and nothing else. But now I realize essential oils are more than just a few drops of oils into a pot of water and diffuse away.

I have always enjoyed the nice smell of essential oils and personally love to do a lot of learning. Recently, I learn that you can eat essential oils, just add them to your salad or even drops of rosemary or thyme to your cooking. Not only so, but essential oils are also parts and parcels of my everyday life now. I can use thieves to create a toilet bomb that keeps my toilet bowel squeaky clean. I create my own DIY roll-on to battle rash, insect bites and keep them away from me during walks in the park and even reduce swelling caused by Acne!!

Gratitude

Today, I am really grateful that 3 nice ladies had given their attention to both my little ones and me. They made me realize there is so much more to learn in essential oils. Lina has shared with me types of roll-on bottles that were designed with a cap to improve blood circulation after you apply and use the cover as to massage.

Sara was interested to know more about the difference between Frankincense & Sacred Frankincense. This made me remember why I have a booth, to share and exchange on usages of essential oils and their benefits to a larger community. Here is what I have found out on the difference. If you visit this blog, I hope this answers to your question.

A Tale of 2 Frankincenses

Frankincense is known as the “king of essential oils” for good reason. Rich in history and aroma, Frankincense and Sacred Frankincense have stood the test of time and remain two of the most popular essential oils. Learn the tale of two Frankincenses – from their ancient roots to their special place in homes around the world today.

Sacred Frankincense essential oil is derived from the sap of the Boswellia sacra in Oman and Frankincense essential oil comes from the Boswellia frereana in Somalia—both trees are spindly, whimsical, and wild. The differences between Frankincense and Sacred Frankincense lie in their aromas and the location and type of trees from which they’re harvested. Frankincense is beloved for its musky, earthy aroma and skin-beautifying benefits.

Sacred Frankincense has a sweeter aroma than Frankincense and is derived from the Boswellia sacra, which is only found in Oman. Unlike Frankincense, Sacred Frankincense comes from the second round of sap produced by the tree. This makes Sacred Frankincense the purest form of Frankincense. Sacred Frankincense is a Natural Health Product (NHP) treasured for its ability to inspire relaxation, soothe symptoms of cough and cold, and relieve minor skin irritations.

Frankincenses Usage

  • Rub Frankincense on your hands after a long day of gardening for a warming and soothing effect.

  • Helps reduce the appearance of skin imperfections. Add 2 drops of frankincense to 2 drops of copaiba and fill up 5ml of jojoba carrier oil into a roll-on bottle. Apply this after toner to improve the face condition.

  • Can be applied to the bottoms of feet to promote feelings of relaxation and to balance mood.

That is all for today's sharing. Do comment if you have more info on the mentioned EO😊
